To support SIGA’s continued growth across the British Isles, we’re looking for a driven and technically skilled Application Engineer in the UK to join our Western Europe Application Engineering Team.

Qualifications and Competences
- Option 1: Higher technical education (e.g. in civil or façade engineering) and minimum of 5 years’ experience in practical building project management.
- Option 2: No higher technical education, but at least 8 years of relevant experience in product testing and practical building project management (RIBA stages I-V: pre-design, planning, production, installation).
- Hands-on technical expertise with strong communication skills to ensure our product solutions meet the specific needs of the local market.
- UK market knowledge and understanding.
- Willingness to travel for approx. 30%, based in the focus area of Greater Manchester.
- Proficient in English (Level C2) and IT literate in Microsoft Office.
About the Job
As part of our Application Engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful application and continuous improvement of our products and services in the façade construction sector. Your focus lies on architects, large façade contractors, and in general larger scale projects. From day one, you’ll receive a comprehensive training program to equip you with in-depth product knowledge and insights into our company’s standards. During your first six months, you’ll work in the GB Sales team to build a strong understanding of customer needs and local market dynamics.
Your main responsibilities will include providing high-quality technical support to our sales markets and delivering advanced technical training to both our customers and SIGA employees. You will engage directly with customers on-site to test products and investigate their building processes, identifying opportunities for new product and service development. In addition, you’ll handle the analysis and processing of customer complaints, ensuring a solution-oriented approach that feeds back into our product development cycle. Your expertise will also be crucial in maintaining and renewing product certifications, representing SIGA’s interests in industry associations, and participating in standardisation committees. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge through technical presentations and CPDs at industry events. Continuously developing our technical services offering will be a central part of your role, helping us stay ahead in innovation and customer satisfaction.
